Embedding Videos - Using the WYSIWYG Video Transcript

Back to the WYSIWYG Video Embed Page

review how to use the video embed

feature now the video embed feature is

going to be available basically in any

kind of content type where you can

access the WYSIWYG for purposes of this

video I'm just going to create a basic

page here real quick and we'll give it a

title

and the button we're gonna be concerned

with is right here so if you hover over

that it'll say biggie you in bed I'll

click on it and it's gonna ask me for a

video url so I've actually already got a

video pulled up here in YouTube you'll

just copy the full address or the full

URL in the address bar for the video

copy that and then will paste it here

and that's basically it there are a

couple settings that you can change for

the video but we do recommend that you

leave them to the default settings so

autoplay should be unchecked and there's

accessibility reasons for that you don't

want the video to automatically start

playing once the page loads and then

additionally responsive videos should be

checked because that'll make sure that

the video is responsive and can change

size depending on whatever the display

size is that someone's looking at your

content so you know cell phone screens

are going to be smaller than tablet

screens and so forth so leave these at

their defaults autoplay unchecked

response video checked click Save I've

got my preview here my video I'm not

going to add anything else so I'll just

go ahead and publish this

here's my video you can see that it is

embedded it is stretching across the

entire width of the content area of my

page and all users really need to do is

just click the play button and they're

good to go
