Platform Release Notes - April 1st, 2024

This is to provide an update on the latest fixes, feature improvements and accessibility updates across the Colorado.gov CMS platform. Please review for any relevant information you may want to share with your CMS teams.

Features and fixes completed:

  • Layout Builder- Columns not rendering as expected
  • Layout Builder - Icon Card Block

Accessibility updates completed:

1.1.1Button Missing Text Alternative Jumbotron PREV/NEXT buttons
 "Locations »▼" link within the main navbar when using the arrow keys to navigate, shows as different links. When tabbing through or bringing up a links list, Locations »▼ isn't separated into different links but show as one link.
1.4.11Non-text Contrast: Search input in header: Insufficient color contrast for border 
 Resource Search "read more" links 
1.3.1Avoid unnecessary use of heading elements
1.1.1Provide text equivalents for icon fonts
1.4.3Ensure text and images of text provide sufficient contrast 
1.3.1Ensure ARIA regions, landmarks and HTML sections are identifiable
