This is to provide an update on the latest fixes, feature improvements and accessibility updates across the Colorado.gov CMS platform. Please review for any relevant information you may want to share with your CMS teams.
Platform Maintenance:
Password Security Policy
- Description of Change: In compliance with Tyler Technologies “Tyler Digital Solutions Security Policy” V1.35 – Oct 2, 2023 Password Management Policy calls for user-level passwords (e.g., email, web, desktop computer, etc.) to be changed at least every 90 days.
Fixes Completed:
Accordion Rows
- Issue: “Expand All” present on row accordion; “Collapse All” not present when accordion fully expanded.
- Fix: “Collapse All” has been restored to all Accordion Row and is present on platform
Reference Menu Links - Basic Pages
- Issue: Carrots not displaying consistently on Reference Menu on Paragraph: Row/Cards
- Fix: Configuration has been updated to ensure menu links generated at node level match those generated in Menu sub-module
Article content type - Blog Posts
- Issue: Images uploaded via CKEditor to Blog Posts are not cropping as expected
- Fix: Images uploaded to the body field are set to 100% width and height automatically when device smaller than 750px
Breadcrumb Linking
- Issue: Last breadcrumb represents the page the end user is on, and linking to the same page can be confusing, misleading, and unnecessary
- Fix: Breadcrumbs now show <span aria-current="page">Events</span> instead of <a href="" aria-current="page">Events</a>
Settings - Revisions
- Issue: Edits not showing up on the “Revision Tab” where previous version of a page are not displayed
- Fix: The configuration has been updated for /node/revisions to allow revisions to display
Block/Theming - Utility Menu
- Issue: Utility Menus were not displayed on system pages such as /category press-releases
- Fix: Page configuration has been updated to show the utility menu blocks on all pages including system pages
Permissions - Content Administrator
- Issue: User reported inability to generate new Layout Content Type
- Fix: Configuration has been updated to ensure all Content Administrator user roles have access to Layout content type
Paragraphs: Rows/Cards - Preview
- Issue: Inability to preview edits before saving changes.
- Fix: The Dynamic Entity Reference module has been enabled which allows for the “Preview” to be displayed and expected. This also restores the preview/labels for Paragraphs: Rows/Cards
New Features:
Entity Reference Revisions (Module)
- Description: Adds an Entity Reference field type with revision support, allowing specific entity revisions to be references. This is useful for modules like Paragraphs and Inline Entity Form.
