Release Notes Version 3.1.0

This is to provide an update on the latest fixes, feature improvements and accessibility updates across the Colorado.gov CMS platform. Please review for any relevant information you may want to share with your CMS teams.

Features and fixes completed:

  • Views buttons replaced card – We simplified the views functionality by incorporating the feature into the WYSIWYG editor. To add views like ‘upcoming events’ or ‘recent articles’ now, simply create a Basic card and use the new Views button.
  • Webform email formatting – We fixed the webform email formatting so if you have emails/handlers set up on a form, you will once again see the formatted results via email.
  • Font Awesome button – Returned the Font Awesome button to the WYSIWYG editor. Please search under the version 5 icons (https://fontawesome.com/v5/search) when using the FA button. We only have version 6 integrated into the Icon card currently.
  • Expand all button on accordion rows – Updated default dark blue button to link so it meets all theme options for sites across the platform.
  • User roles – Cleaned up permissions for various user roles. More on user roles and corresponding abilities: https://cms.colorado.gov/user-roles
  • User Admins – User admins now have access to password reset fields for all CMS users under the people tab. This could be used in lieu of emailing partner support.
  • Show Date and Time Display – Events show the date and time display label again when that option is checked.
