Release Notes Version 3.4.0

This is to provide an update on the latest fixes, feature improvements and accessibility updates across the Colorado.gov CMS platform. Please review for any relevant information you may want to share with your CMS teams.

Features and fixes completed:

  • Develop and Theme New Button Style - Enhancing the button feature with optional color background (same 6 color options for now) and rounded corners--allowing for "primary" and "seconday" button themes. New UI and examples can be seen here.
  • UI/UX - Google Translate Block - Allows content authors to display optional Google Translate feature in the global header. Click to see the new optional Translate block on demo.
  • UI/UX - Update reCAPTCHA Settings Config to Remove Description - Removes the default checked reCAPTCHA description box, hiding the unneeded description on all reCAPTCHAs.
  • UI/UX - Fix Contact Ordering Functionality - Enables the drag and drop functionality for contact order changes on /contact for content authors.
  • UI/UX - Edit Resource Search View Title and URL - Allows admins to edit the /resource-search view page title as requested.
  • UI/UX - Fix Border Display on Equal Column Rows - Allows both the shadow and regular border to display as expected on the equal column rows.
  • Fix Permissions on Various User Roles - Content managers have access to create, edit and publish Landing pages again. Also, only Structure admins have access to manage menus.

Accessibility updates completed:

Update aria-labels on Slider Dots 0.5 Updated in code (Instead of just showing the numbers the aria-label now shows “Slide 1 of 3 carousel slides” which is a clearer description for screen reader software.)
